Accepted into Forest Institute of Professional Psychology
I recently received this acceptance letter into the Doctorate Program at Forest Institute. It came with some surprise but mostly it provided fulfilled hope. Kristy and I have worked hard these last four years and in some way this acceptance letter serves as a reward to those efforts. There is no question in my mind that we could not be in this position had I not had the unwavering support of my angel wife. We look forward to our new adventure in Missouri, we go with hesitation as we leave our family and friends in Ohio, but we are hopeful that we will find our place amongst those who we will soon meet for the first time.
The program begins on July 5th and our current plans are to remain in Ohio until the last of June and then to make our way west. Kristy plans to spend some of the summer with her sister back in Ohio as Sherry is expecting her third child at the end of July.
So on to another adventure and last one at that....at least as far as school goes. The Doctorate of Psychology takes four years and then to obtain my license as a Doctor of Psychology (Psychologist) I will be required to serve a one-year internship/residency some where in America. So here is to another four years of school.......
